①Silver paint is a mixture of pigments, solvents, metal particles of corresponding sizes and additives. The distribution ratio of metal particles in the pigment will affect the color of the paint surface. If the silver powder is not fully stirred before painting, metal particles will be deposited on the bottom of the container, there will be too many metal particles in the paint on the bottom, the coating film will be too thick, and the color of the painted surface will become uneven.

②The viscosity of the paint is incorrect, that is, there is a problem with the proportion of the thinner. If the amount of thinner is too much, the drying speed of the paint surface is slow, the metal particles are easy to aggregate, and the silk phenomenon is prone to occur. However, if the amount of diluent used is too small, the quality of the coating film will deteriorate, so the appropriate viscosity required by both aspects should be considered.

③The time interval of each painting is too short. If the silver paint is not sufficiently dried, the metal particles will be unevenly distributed.

④Improper adjustment of the spray gun or poor spraying process. The compressed air pressure is too low, the distance between the spray gun and the painted surface is too close or close, or the speed of the spray gun is uneven, and the surface of the silver powder coating has a phenomenon between light and dark.

Approach:

The painted surface is water-milled with fine sandpaper and repainted, or the painted surface is fully dried and the compressed air pressure is increased to increase the distance of the painted surface to 40~50cm, and then painted with silver powder paint using fast-drying thinner.
